Firebug can make Gmail slow
For the best Gmail performance, we suggest disabling Firebug for www.google.com.

You can find instructions for the most recent version of Firebug at the Firebug documentation site.

If disabling Firebug for Gmail doesn't improve performance results, you may have to entirely disable Firebug.

Limon & ABC Fonts on Android: Viewing DAP-News & EveryDay website!

Most of Khmer websites are created by using Limon or ABC fonts, such as DAP new, EveryDay, or many others. Here is a little tutorial to install those fonts to your Android and how to view those sites correctly.

Requirements:

• Rooted Android Device! (do it at your own risk)
• Root Explorer
• Limon and ABC fonts
• Firefox (currently, I have tested only with Firefox Mobile, stock browser is not working!)

Installation:

1. Create a folder name “KhmerFont” in your SD-Card
2. copy Limon and ABC fonts to your newly created folder “KhmerFont”
3. open Root Explorer
4. Navigate to your “KhmerFont” folder in your SD-Card
5. Copy them (press copy button)
6. Navigate to “System\Fonts”
7. Press “Mount R/W” at top
8. Press “Past”
9. Press “Mount R/O”
10. Done.

Tested with Galaxy Tab 7′

Now you can browse DAP News or EveryDay in your Firefox Browser. Enjoy!

Setup HTC Magic as a 3G modem

Before start, download Android SDK and PdaNet (http://www.junefabrics.com/android/index.php)

Preparation:

1. install usb driver for HTC magic (please refer to previous blog entry)

2. connect HTC magic to local machine via USB cable

3. make sure "USB debugging" is ticked

Starting:

1. install PdaNet, click OK

2. turn on PdaNet on HTC magic

3. select connect on toolbar of local machine,


4. connected.
