Most of Khmer websites are created by using Limon or ABC fonts, such as DAP new, EveryDay, or many others. Here is a little tutorial to install those fonts to your Android and how to view those sites correctly.
Requirements:
- Rooted Android Device! (do it at your own risk)
- Root Explorer
- Limon and ABC fonts
- Firefox (currently, I have tested only with Firefox Mobile, stock browser is not working!)
Installation:
- Create a folder name “KhmerFont” in your SD-Card
- copy Limon and ABC fonts to your newly created folder “KhmerFont”
- open Root Explorer
- Navigate to your “KhmerFont” folder in your SD-Card
- Copy them (press copy button)
- Navigate to “System\Fonts”
- Press “Mount R/W” at top
- Press “Past”
- Press “Mount R/O”
- Done.
Tested with Galaxy Tab 7′
Now you can browse DAP News or EveryDay in your Firefox Browser. Enjoy!
